Wedding Bells

No I did not find IT I dont think. I did find loads of beautiful dresses but none that I really needed to have. There was one... it was so beautifuL! I filled up when I put it on . But on the car ride home I think that it was just beacuse it was the only one that fit me. It jsut makes it so much easier to love when it fits I think. Also it is the top of my dress budget and if I go there I want to LOVE LOVE it.. you know what I mean? I will keep searching. .. the quest continues.. What about you girls.. does anyone else have their dress?

October 30th!

I feel like we're so behind. We had a bit of a setback with our location, so we've had to start looking at new venues. So much has been resting on having a venue that's available on our date so it's been hard to peg anything down.

So far:

Tentative location for ceremony & reception, caterer & bartender are on board for our date, wedding website and save the dates are in progress, mother is making cupcakes & cakes, bridesmaids are picking their own dresses (black, knee-length, semi-formal)

Important to do soon:

Book photographer, DJ, hair dresser and officiant
BUY DRESS!!!

And probably have a panic attack or two along the way...

Im in ontraio, just outside of Toronto.... right now we are busy busy looking for an officiant, and florist...those are our two biggies right now

witchywoman - Thanks. Ya, that would be cool if we could find the Phantom mask. FH wouldn't be too stoked on the idea of wearing it, but we could use it for our photobooth. Haha, that video was kinda funny, but cute. I did like the single red rose though. As for your dress, sounds like you may have found "the one". If you keep reverting back to it during your search maybe it was really the one then. Good luck, have fun, and keep us updated:) I found my dress on the first day of my search. It was well over my budget, but I had to have it, lol. I bought a Maggie Sottero. My dress is Camille.

backwards8 - You picked a great date because I have the same date, lol. Where are you located? Sounds like you are well on your way with planning. Don't worry, it will get done one way or another. I'm a bit of a keener. I had everything booked and a few things purchased by December. I am also in school full-time and work part-time, so I have limited time I can spend on wedding planning So when I have a break I go hard. My bridesmaid also picked their own dresses and they are also black.

We finally hit the blog! Well some of our engagement photos did, lol.

I just realized I was still looking in 9-12 months and wondering where the heck is October! Time is moving fast!

I FINALLY bought my dress! I absolutely love it! I also love that it is one less thing to worry about!

FH and I are going to sign up for our gift registry this week. I'm currently taking inventory of all that we have, what we need, and what needs replacing.

How is everyone else's 'to-do' lists fairing?

Another October 23rd here!! Our original wedding date was set for May 29th, but my fiance was diagnosed with Cancer back in December so we have pushed it back a bit!

So lets see what I have checked off my list...

~ Dress.... Check!
~ Venue.... Check!
~ Officiant .... Check!
~ Photographer.... Check!
- Videographer... Check!
~ DJ.... Check!
~ Invitations.... Check!

Still so much to do!
