Grimeys, I hate when AF shows up and puts my body into chaos mode! I hope this week breezes by! I am sorry that you are stressed! VENT HERE if you need to!!!
I totally love Yoga, and while I have only done hot yoga twice, I really really enjoyed it!! Totally makes me feel A L I V E !

Diva, I totally agree, how strange it is that our cycles are so close together!! Mine was just last week!

Dandelion, still waiting for your meal and workout plan for the week!! I hope you are feeling better!

Kezza, you are SO right about not letting TOM derail us!! TOM is a fact of our lives, and we just have to learn how to deal with it, and the emotions, bloating, and whatever else comes with it! I hope that your DD Brooklyn is feeling better!

Purplepunk, be P R O U D of each and every pound you have lost!! You worked hard for those pounds!!

Sorry for not getting everyone tonight, SO wise, but its past midnight and I want to post a bit of an update!

AFM, I have been off work for ALMOST a week now, and I am really starting to feel the stress and anxiety ease away! I don’t even remember a time in the last year that I have felt so relaxed!!

I struggled last week with meals during the day . . . scared to eat, in fear that I wouldn’t be able to stop, then having periods of time throughout the day where all I wanted was to snack, snack and snack!

I have started to get into my groove though, and am SO happy to say that I am back at the gym and feeling great!
Went to body pump/power/force (goes by so many names!) again tonight, and it was AWESOME!

The class instructor said something today (a couple of things really) that really really made an impression on me, and they were:

This is your hour of power. Your hour at the gym, just for Y O U. Your hour to make a change, use it wisely! (WOOT! Made me squat deeper and grunt louder!)

And

You have to work for the change you want to see in your body, your body can’t do it on its own! (so true and simple, and I needed to be reminded that I needed to WORK for it!)

Anyways, I am going to the gym again tomorrow, and I can’t freaking wait!

Here is my meal plan for tomorrow:

Breakfast: Whole wheat wrap (80 cals, yay), 2 egg whites, cheese

Snack: Apple with Almond Butter

Lunch: homemade soup(with 1 full serving of veg), grapefruit

Snack: Protein Shake

Dinner: Tilapia, spinach , and WW rice.

laugh

This is completely how I've started viewing my workouts. They have become my ME time. It's my time to do something for myself and time to have by myself.

Having said that, I didn't get to workout last night. It's probably the first time I've missed my workout in weeks. And I feel sluggish this morning. Amazing what a difference it makes once you're used to it. I don't feel guilty about missing the workout. I was seriously sleep deprived and fell asleep while putting one of the kids to bed. I needed the sleep.

I'll get a good one in tonight while watching biggest loser.

Hey ladies!

Sweet - I love the things your fitness instructor said, they are SO true!!

I love my gym time too, it's my ME time! I didn't enjoy it nearly as much before I had James though. Now I love working out like crazy and being able to look over to childminding and know he is safe and sound (and someone else's problem for an hour, lol!)

Anyway, all is well in my world. After having the huge downer of a 2.4 lb gain last week it took me a few days to get back on track but I did it. I have been eating good and getting to the gym for the past few days. I am hoping to see a loss on the scale tomorrow, but we shall see!

I wanted to say that I tried the PC blue menu salmon and crab cakes last night and they were deelish! They are 5 points for two and we had them with wild rice and a salad. A yummy and filling meal.

*knock knock* purple team where are you? smile

Last chance workout tonight!

How has everybody been doing this week. It seems the last couple weeks have been tough for us. I hope everybody is doing better.

Last night I had a great workout. I've joined Salsa Cardio (aka Zumba) at the gym and I loved it.

Tonight I will be going for a quick walk/run on the tredmill after I take my daughter for swimming lessons and than it is home to watch Survivor Heroes vs. Villains

Hey there ladies!

I know it has been a tough week for us and we've all be quiet.

Not that this is allaobut me...but,
I was SUPER excited this morning, I stepped on the scale and was down another 3 pounds from last week (last week I was 239.5 - today I was 236.5) I am just 6.5 pounds away from meeting my goal weight for this challenge.

And I 'officially' lost 3.4 pounds this week at WW, bringing my 8 week total with them 21.4 pounds (my unofficial from my highest in October though is now 34 pounds.)

YIPPEE...

Seriously, if I can do this, ANYONE can do it. So let's stay motivated, let's stay positive, let's cheer each other on and let's finish this challenge STRONG. We can do it!

Great job Humber!

That's what I lost at my meeting this week too smile I got a pendant for having 16 consecutive paid weeks with them. It was such a nice thing to receive and shows me that I really am and can do this.
